Mae Von
The founder of Mae Von Makeup Institute, graduated from the famous England makeup institute “Greasepaint”. With her passion and professional skills, Mae became the assigned makeup professional of many artists once back to Hong Kong. As time goes, Mae’s passion in makeup never diminishes. In 2004, Mae established Mae Von Makeup Institute and aim at given professional makeup training. Many new makeup stars are also Mae’s students.
Hundreds of beautiful faces have been created by the hands of Mae including Nicholas Tse, Raymond Lam, Joey Yung, Juno, Twins, Jaycee, Eason Chan, Coco Lee, Jacky Chan, Jane Xu, Dave Wong, Nick Cheung, Jade Kwan, Leila Tong, Sharon Chan, Emme Wong, Dicky Cheung, Flora Chan, Yumiko Cheng, Lily Ho, Evonne Hsu, Renee Dai, Chen Yin Hang, Grace Yip, Swing, Bolin Chen, Charmaine Sheh, Yan Ng etc. Mae analysis each celebrity’s face profile in detail, additional with her skillful makeup technique, has established each of them with a unique style and remarkable image which is unforgettable.
Mae’s professional skills have been recognized by lots of medium, and even most of the international labels and electronic media such as Prosays’, Clinique, Faces of Lane Crawford, TVB, Commercial Radio, Metro Radio and Sina.com and etc also invited Mae as makeup tutor for a demonstration. To cope with broadcasting of high definition TV, a unique makeup skill was launched and which attracts high attention from various media. Mae was invited frequently for interviews of special feature in newspaper, including HK Cable TV, ATV, Now.com,Apple Daily, HK Headline, Sing Pao, East Weekly, Next Magazine and etc. *The professional image of Mae is reinforced. Makeup classes are provided to non-profit making organizations and education institutes like HK Aids Foundation, The Neighborhood Advice-Action Council, The HK Federation of Business Students, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (UST), Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong Suen Yan University, The University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, Langnan University, The Hong Kong Institute of Education, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE), Lui Ming Choi Lutheran Colleage, Kwai Chung Methodist College, CCC Kei San Secondary School, Po Leung Kuk Wai Yin College and etc. *In cooperate with tutors and students, Mae also participate in fund raising event like Hong Kong Cancer Fund Gala Dinner, Yan Chai Overseas Charity Event, in providing makeup and hair styling service for performers and volunteers.
